Tukaram Beej — the day Sant Tukaram Maharaj ascended bodily to Vaikuntha in 1650 CE from the Inderayani riverbank at Dehu. Falls on Falgun Krishna Dwitiya. Warkaris gather at Dehu and at every Vitthal mandir to sing Tukaram's gathas through the night. The Beej procession of his bhajan-mandali walks from the river to the mandir reenacting that final morning.

Mantra
जय जय रामकृष्ण हरि
Jaya Jaya Rama Krishna Hari
Victory, victory to Rama, Krishna, Hari — the Warkari salutation given by Sant Tukaram.
How to recite
Sing Sant Tukaram's gathas (collected abhangas) continuously — especially 'Andhalya magate ek dola' and 'Hech daan dega deva'. Visit Dehu if possible for the Beej procession from the Inderayani river bank to the Tukaram mandir.
Benefits
Honors Sant Tukaram's vaikuntha-gaman (ascension to Vaikuntha in his physical body, attested in the Tukaram Charitra). Reading his gathas on this day is held to confer the same merit as a Pandharpur darshan.
✦ Special Note
Dehu, near Pune, becomes the second Pandharpur on this day. Tukaram Beej is one of the three pillar-days of the Warkari year (with Ashadhi and Kartiki Ekadashi). Per the Marathi Drik Panchang (Amanta system) — Phalgun Krishna Dwitiya (Falgun Vad 2).
