Sri Tulasi-Saligrama Vivaha — Kartika Shukla Dvadasi (the day after Probodhini Ekadashi) — the formal wedding of Srimati Tulasi Devi (Vrinda) to Sri Saligrama-sila (Sri Vishnu). Performed at every ISKCON temple and home altar with a small wedding ceremony — Tulasi dressed as the bride, Saligrama as the groom, garlands exchanged, wedding feast offered. Concludes Caturmasya formally and inaugurates the wedding season.

How to recite
Perform a small Tulasi-Saligrama wedding at your home altar — dress your home Tulasi plant as a bride (with red sari, jewellery, vermilion), the Saligrama-sila as the groom, exchange garlands, recite wedding mantras, offer a wedding feast prasadam to the deities. Chant 16 rounds with extra Tulasi-pranama mantras.

Sri Tulasi-Saligrama Vivaha — Kartika Shukla Dvadasi — the formal wedding of Srimati Tulasi Devi to Sri Saligrama-sila (Vishnu). This day formally concludes Caturmasya and inaugurates the Indian wedding season. Performing or attending Tulasi-Saligrama vivaha is said to grant the merit of giving away one's daughter in kanyadana — one of the most meritorious acts in dharma.

Per the Mayapur Vaishnava Calendar. Performing Tulasi-Saligrama vivaha is one of the most auspicious sacraments a householder can perform — said to grant kanyadana-merit. ISKCON devotees prepare a small wedding canopy at their home Tulasi plant, dress Tulasi as a bride with red sari and ornaments, and conduct a brief wedding kirtan and feast offering.
