The disappearance day of Sri Ramanujacharya (1017–1137 CE) — the second of the four Vaishnava acharyas (Madhva, Ramanuja, Vishnuswami, Nimbarka) accepted in our parampara. Vaisakha Shukla Dasami. Observed at every ISKCON temple as a day of remembrance for the great Vaishnava theologian.

How to recite
Read from the Sri Bhashya or the Vedartha-sangraha. Recite the Yatiraja Vimsati. Offer flowers to a tulsi plant in honour of the acharya. Chant 16 rounds of Hare Krishna.
Benefits
Sri Ramanuja established Vishishtadvaita Vedanta and is one of the four Vaishnava acharyas accepted by Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu. Srila Prabhupada referred to Sri Ramanuja repeatedly in his commentaries — particularly on the Bhagavad-gita verses on bhakti and surrender.

Per the Mayapur Vaishnava Calendar — date may shift by one day in non-Indian timezones. Although Sri Ramanuja established the Sri Vaishnava sampradaya (a separate lineage from ours), Srila Prabhupada and the Gaudiya Vaishnava acharyas honour him as one of the four authorised Vaishnava acharyas of Kali-yuga. His commentaries on the Brahma-sutras (Sri Bhashya) and Bhagavad-gita are foundational.
