Sri Radha-Kunda Ki Jai
All glories to Sri Radha-kunda
How to recite
If at Vraja: take a sacred snana (bath) in Sri Radha-kunda at midnight (the moment Srimati Radharani manifested it). If at home: visualise the parikrama, offer flowers and tulsi to a picture of Sri Radha-kunda, fast until midnight then take prasadam. Chant 16 rounds with continuous meditation on Sri Sri Radha-Krishna's pastimes at Radha-kunda.
Benefits
Sri Radha-kunda is the most sacred place in the entire universe per the Gaudiya Vaishnava acharyas — the personal bathing place of Srimati Radharani, manifested by Her on Bahulastami (Kartika Krishna Astami) when Sri Krishna manifested Syama-kunda. Sri Rupa Goswami in the Upadesamrita declares that Radha-kunda is the supreme tirtha — superior even to Vrindavan.
✦ Special Note
Per the Mayapur Vaishnava Calendar. The midnight snana in Sri Radha-kunda on Bahulastami is the single most powerful act in the entire Gaudiya Vaishnava calendar — said to grant the rare gift of pure raga-bhakti (spontaneous loving devotion to Sri Sri Radha-Krishna). If unable to travel to Vraja, visualise the parikrama and offer sincere prayers from home.
