Om Gam Ganapataye Namaha — I bow to Ganesh, the remover of obstacles, the lord of beginnings

✦ Special Note

Never offer Tulsi leaves to Lord Ganesh — it is one of the few offerings he does not accept. Do not look at the moon on Ganesh Chaturthi night, as legend holds it brings false accusations. Offer durva grass, red flowers, and modak.
